Bluewater Lookout, located in the Sacramento Ranger District of the Lincoln National Forest, boasts a rich history as potentially the oldest lookout on the forest, with its tower dating back to 1917. This unique site also features historic structures from the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), including an observer's cabin and a storage shed, and is recognized on the National Register of Historic Places. While access to the general area is foot traffic only, the tower itself is not open to the public.
