Bridgeport Beach Shelter is a day-use area located on the William "Bill" Dannelly section of the Alabama River, offering a sandy beach for swimming, picnic tables, and a large grassy lawn. A picnic pavilion provides group picnicking opportunities with scenic lake views. This park is open seasonally from April 1st through Labor Day.
