McKay's Bend Recreation Site, jointly managed by the BLM and Idaho Fish and Game, is a developed campground offering 14 full hookup RV sites and 3 tent sites along the Clearwater River and Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail. This year-round facility provides modern amenities like showers, flush toilets, and group facilities, making it an excellent spot for camping, fishing, and enjoying river access in a historic setting.
