Pelican Lake Recreation Area, situated at 4,800 feet, offers a prime destination for fishing enthusiasts, particularly for bluegill and bass. Springtime at the lake is a spectacle for bird-watchers as waterfowl gather to nest. With 13 campsites, including three larger sites suitable for groups, it provides a rustic outdoor experience.
