Southwest Campground is a unique, seasonal camping area within Lassen Volcanic National Park, accessible by vehicle during snow-free months. During winter and spring, overnight stays are limited to self-contained vehicles in the Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center parking lot. When snow melts, walk-in tent sites become available, offering a more traditional camping experience amidst volcanic landscapes.
