Sundell #1863

The Sundell Trail #1863 offers a journey through diverse forest ecosystems on the lower slopes of Red Table Mountain, south and west of Gypsum Creek. While parts of the trail can be faint, it provides readily accessible trailheads along Gypsum Creek Road (FDR #413), making it suitable for both hiking and horseback riding. For an easier experience, hikers can opt to start from the southern trailhead, avoiding the significant initial climb from the north.
