Sunnyside Campground offers shaded individual campsites along the southeast side of Cougar Reservoir within the Willamette National Forest. While not recommended for RVs due to a steep entrance, it provides easy lake access and serves as a great base for hiking in the nearby Three Sisters Wilderness and exploring the Cougar Recreation Area. Visitors can enjoy abundant wildflowers, wildlife viewing, and the relaxing Terwilliger Hot Springs nearby, though they must bring their own water.
